When a product recommendation campaign is shown, the visitor sees the product image, name, and price along with an "Add to cart" button that places the item in their cart instantly, keeping them on their current page. On Shopify stores, product information (including price, image, and inventory status) syncs automatically from the store catalog, so the popup always reflects what is currently available. On other platforms, product details are entered manually in the campaign editor. How it works
In the OptiMonk campaign editor, add a Product Element to your popup. Select or build a template from the "Increase sales" goal to find layouts with the Product Element already in place. The element automatically includes an "Add to cart" button.
On Shopify, click the Product Element and browse your catalog to select the product you want to recommend — or choose a dynamic mode for automatic selection. Product images, names, and prices sync instantly. On other platforms, enter the product details manually.
When the popup is shown, the visitor sees the product alongside the "Add to cart" button. One click places the item in their cart, the popup closes or advances to the next page, and the visitor continues browsing with the new product already in their basket.
