What it is
By default a campaign is measured by its submits. A conversion goal measures something else: a visit to a page, a purchase over a value, or an amount added to the cart.
Pick a goal, and every number on Reports is recalculated against it.
Built-in Order and Add to cart goals are there when OptiMonk can compute them for the domain, and you can create your own.
Key benefits
A checkout visit, a purchase, a full cart.
The trend, the table and every breakdown follow the goal.
Every campaign on that domain can use it.
How it works
On the Reports page, above the trend chart.
Name it and pick a type: Page visit, Purchase value or Add-to-cart value.
Choose it in the goal picker, and the numbers follow.
Step-by-step setup lives in the Help Center guide.
On the Reports page, not in Settings.
Page visit, Purchase value and Add-to-cart value, plus the built-in Submit, Order and Add to cart.
It may take a few minutes to appear in the selectors.
Yes, a goal is offered for campaigns on the domain it was created for.
