You place a special Smart Tag ([[cartValueCountdown:X]]) into any text element inside a sticky bar or popup, set the free shipping threshold as X, and OptiMonk handles the live calculation automatically. When the visitor's cart value reaches the threshold, the bar switches to a congratulatory "free shipping unlocked" message. The same feature can also promote any other spend-based incentive, such as a free gift.

How it works
In the OptiMonk campaign editor, click any text element in a sticky bar or popup and insert [[cartValueCountdown:X]], where X is your free shipping threshold. Type the currency symbol after the placeholder since currency is not auto-detected.
Duplicate your main campaign page and update the copy to celebrate reaching the threshold (e.g., "Free shipping unlocked!"). OptiMonk switches to this page automatically once the visitor's cart value meets or exceeds X.
Set the campaign trigger to "After 0 seconds" so the bar is visible from the first page load, and remove the default frequency limit so the countdown stays visible throughout the visitor’s entire session.
