How it works
If your store runs on Shopify, install OptiMonk directly from the Shopify App Store — with no code required. For WooCommerce or WordPress, install the OptiMonk WordPress plugin. For Magento, follow the Magento integration guide. For all other platforms — including Wix, BigCommerce, Volusion, Drupal, and custom-built sites — copy your unique JavaScript snippet from your OptiMonk account settings.
For JS-based installs, paste the OptiMonk script snippet into the <head> section of every page on your website, or add it as a Custom HTML tag in Google Tag Manager. For platforms with a dedicated plugin, the plugin handles script loading automatically after authentication. The script is lightweight and loads asynchronously, so it does not affect your page speed.
Once the script is running, OptiMonk identifies your platform type and begins collecting available data — cart value, product context, visitor behavior, and more.
