Inactivity

Step in when a visitor stops clicking and scrolling.

What it is

Inactivity, in plain words.

Inactivity shows your popup when a visitor has stopped doing anything for a set number of seconds: no mouse movement, no clicks, no scrolling.

It catches people who have stalled. An offer that appears at that moment is often enough to bring them back.

If your analytics show a lot of idle time on a page, this is the trigger for it.

Key benefits

Why it earns its place.

01

Bring stalled visitors back.

The popup reaches people at the moment they drift off.

02

Quiet while they browse.

It never fires while someone is moving, clicking or scrolling.

03

On phones too.

Inactivity runs on desktop, mobile or both.

How it works

Three steps to set it up.

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Ask for it

“Show it after 20 seconds without activity.” The agent sets the trigger.

  2. 2
    Step 2

    Set the seconds and devices

On the Settings tab, add After inactivity, set Show after N seconds and pick the devices.

  3. 3
    Step 3

    Narrow it down and save

Add who should see it, then save.
