What it is
On click opens your popup when a visitor clicks a part of your page you name: a button, a link, a banner.
At that moment the popup works like a mini landing page. Put an e-book link in a blog post, and the popup that collects the email opens on the click.
You point to the element with a CSS selector, like #cta-button or .promo-banner a. You can add several, and a click on any of them opens the popup.
Key benefits
The visitor chose to click, so the popup lands on interest instead of interrupting.
Anything you can select with CSS, including clicks on elements inside it.
Each selector has its own Desktop / Mobile switch, so one can be desktop-only and the next mobile-only.
How it works
In Chrome, right-click it and choose Inspect. An id="promo" becomes #promo, a class="promo" becomes .promo.
On the Settings tab, add On click and enter one selector per row, each with its own devices.
Save, then click the element on your site to check that the popup opens.
Step-by-step setup lives in the Help Center guide.
Any CSS selector: an element name, a class, an ID, or a combination, like a, div.container > a or #container.
No. A click opens the campaign instead of the element's normal behaviour, so don't use an element whose own function you need.
No. The popup opens on every click, after a page reload too, even for a visitor who has already filled it in, as long as the targeting rules match.
Right-click the element in Chrome, choose Inspect, and take its id or class.
