What it is
Time delay shows your popup after a visitor has spent a set number of seconds on the page, anything from 0 to 60.
The countdown starts once the page and OptiMonk have loaded, and it restarts on every page load.
At 0 seconds the popup appears the moment a visitor lands. That works, but it interrupts people before they have seen anything, so a moment that fits your visitors is usually the better choice.
Key benefits
A short delay gives people a moment before the popup appears.
The getting-started guide suggests a delay of a few seconds as a first trigger on mobile.
Add it next to exit intent or scroll depth: the campaign fires on whichever happens first.
How it works
“Show it after 5 seconds.” The agent sets the delay for you.
On the Settings tab, add After a delay, set Show after N seconds (0–60) and pick Desktop, Mobile or both.
Add who should see it, for example only certain pages, then save.
Step-by-step setup lives in the Help Center guide.

Yes. A campaign can hold up to 8 triggers and fires when any one of them does.
